I do hope she is ok. I have had many Hedgehog who have had the worms. I don't know that much about Hedgehogs, but I learnt that when they have worms they will sometimes eat loads and then not put much on.

Good luck with her!

Hopefuly the worms will start to die very soon. If she does stop eating then you have some advice from another post.
Good luck with her. She has a very nice name! Yes

What a wonderful name she has! Grin

Have you wormed her? If so then could she be getting rid of the dead ones? confused If not, then she could do with it, or maybe she needs a second course.

she was wormed when first in,the ones in her poop are dead so would she need a second course? i don't want to mess her around to much if shes had weight loss and is quite picky with what she prefers to eat. should i monitor her for a few days see if her poop/weight loss/gain goes back to normal? confused

I know the usual thing with any new hedgehog is a course of wormer for 5 days then again in 2 weeks, so I am wondering if she had worms for sure the first course killed them so the second will ensure all dead and help get rid? confused

I think I'll look into this a bit and find out for sure - the hedgehog I have has tonight finished a course, I gave them to her as a matter of course not because she had them. Hope that reads as I mean it to! confused

i know what you mean!?
i worm all hedgehogs when they come in but am a bit reluctant to go again if she doesn't need it,as i don't really want to make her stomach upset or anything.if her poop goes back to normal etc, then is that a sign the worms are gone???
